the house belonged to luang sunsarakit, the former chief royal page. his wife, mrs. pojsanit, gave it to hrh the princess a long time ago. she had it relocated to her plot of land in pathumthani province. she said, “it is my first house.” this painting was done from a photograph. she explained that “besides the house with different shades of orange and blue was added. the real picture is not like that. actually, next to it, there was a green tree. i was tired of painting trees realistically, so i changed it and used the color crayons su (ms. sujitra jongstitwattana) gave me. i didn’t draw the house as it really was because i forgot what the windows and the door looked like.”
