this painting is a copy of the one hrh the princess gave to mr. bancha lamsam. that one is a horizontal picture. she painted this one for herself in a vertical format.
this painting was published in the journal wanwan-sanmaitri, which was appropriately accompanied by her poem, “the land of the fog.” the poem, written in january 1978, depicts white fog lying lowly in the sky shrouding mountain peaks and ravines of the faraway land.
